Shoot 8 - Politician Head Process

Destruction Process:

Once I had finished shooting the politician heads in their full form, I took an open metal box with a hammer and a screwdriver to break away specific features of the sculptures. 

My method was to position the screwdriver onto the surface on where I wanted to smash facial features, then hit the bottom of the screwdriver with the hammer. This process was the best possible way to remove material in the most controlled way. 

From the first of the videos, I decided to place a towel down between the metal box and the counter surface. This softens the found of the sculpture and I was hammering.
